Late Thursday evening, a car went out of control and met with an accident on Marine Drive located at Atal Path in Patna. In this accident, a rod of an iron divider on the roadside entered the driver’s shoulder. In this accident, the driver died on the spot. It went out of control and hit a person traveling on a bicycle, who was badly injured. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police of Patliputra police station reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.

Regarding the incident, Patliputra police station chief said that a car was coming fast from Digha. Suddenly it lost control near Marine Drive and hit an iron bar on the roadside. He told that the collision was so severe that an iron part of the divider entered the driver’s shoulder. In this incident, the driver died on the spot. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. After much effort, the police took out the deceased from the vehicle and sent it to PMCH in Patna for post-mortem. Patliputra police station in-charge said that the deceased person has been identified as Kamakhya Prasad, a resident of Digha. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot for hours.
