The accused in the Hathras Satsang incident appeared in the Chief Magistrate Court in charge on 6 September through video conferencing. Now the next hearing in the case will be held on 18 September. On 2 July, 121 people died in a stampede after the Satsang of Narayan Sakar Hari alias Surajpal in Fullerai Mughalgarhi village of Sikandrarao. In this case, the police arrested 11 accused and sent them to jail.

On September 6, the main accused Devprakash Madhukar, Megh Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Manju Yadav, Manju Devi, Ram Ladete, Upendra Singh, Sanju Kumar, Ram Prakash Shakya, Durvesh Kumar, Dalveer Singh appeared through video conferencing. Investigation is still going on in the case. DM, SSP, ADM, Nagar Palika Adhyaksh Sikandrarao, suspended SDM and CO etc. have also appeared before the judicial commission investigating this case. The commission has issued notices to 500 people to record their statements.

The 11 accused will appear before the judicial commission probing the Hathras incident on September 10. He said that he has recorded the statement in the judicial commission on behalf of Bhole Baba, whatever information was sought has been given. Now all the 11 accused lodged in Aligarh jail will appear before the commission. All are in judicial custody.
