The sequence of actions being taken by Aligarh Development Authority (ADA) by running a campaign against illegal construction and construction without map continued on January 29 also. On the complaint of illegal construction in Quarsi area and construction work being done in a building even after ADA seal, ADA Vice President Atul Vats himself went to inspect the spot with his team. Along with violating the rules, illegal construction work was found at six places in Zone 1. In one building, construction was found breaking the ADA seal and against the plan.
ADA Vice President immediately filed a case against the concerned builder and ordered the demolition of the illegal construction. On this, the Regional Sub Engineer has filed a case against the concerned building owners in the police station. Orders have been given to remove the regional supervisor for negligence in this entire matter. Instructions have been given for investigation to determine the responsibility of other engineers for illegal construction. ADA Vice President Atul Vats said that complaints of illegal construction without maps were being received in the city for the last several days. On this he himself investigated in Quarsi police station area. A total of six illegal constructions were surprise inspected here.
Construction of Sikandarpur-Asif in Chherat on Quarsi-Anupshahr Road, Syed Habib in Maheshpur Gulistan Colony, Ejaz Ahmed Baig in Manzoorgarhi, Ubaid Rehman and Kahkasan in Ibrahim Masjid are included. Their construction was found to be against the map. Work was going on more than the prescribed floor. ADA Vice President directed to take action against the concerned building owners in this regard. ADA Vice President Atul Vatya reached Manzoorgarhi directly from here. Reached here on the construction of Dr. Mairaj Ahmed. This construction was sealed by the ADA team recently. Even after this, the building owner broke the seal and constructed an additional floor. Regarding this, ADA Vice President gave instructions to register a case against the concerned in the police station.
After this, Engineer Gangesh Kumar Singh, on behalf of the ADA team, has filed a case against Dr. Mairaj Ahmed and three other people at Quarsi police station. ADA Vice President Atul Vats said that orders have been given to remove the regional supervisor on prima facie negligence in this entire matter. Instructions have been given for investigation to determine the responsibility of other engineers for illegal construction. ADA Vice President has inspected another illegally built colony and ordered its demolition. After the inspection of the ADA Vice President, the ADA team immediately sealed the construction being done by Syed Habib on Anupshahr Road against the approved map by the Regional Junior Engineer Gangesh Kumar Singh regarding illegal construction.
