Adani Defense & Aerospace Manufactured Drishti 10 UAV For Indian Navy Unveils By Chief Guest Admiral R Hari Kumar


Indian Navy: Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar inaugurated the first indigenously built Drishti 10 Starliner Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in Hyderabad on Wednesday. This unmanned aerial vehicle i.e. drone has been manufactured by Adani Defense and Aerospace.

Adani made modern drone for Indian Navy

The flag-off ceremony of this Drishti 10 Starliner unmanned aerial vehicle, built by Adani for the security of India, was led by chief guest Admiral R Hari Kumar. During this time, 75 Navy soldiers were also present with him. Referring to its roadmap as per the needs of the Indian Navy, he praised Adani Group for making self-reliance successful and capable for defense and security.

He said, “ISR technology is a big game changer to become a self-reliant naval force. The arrival of Drishti 10 will enhance the capabilities of our Navy. It is like a dream come true for us, sixty percent of which is present in India. This UAV has been built with the help of more than 100,000 similar materials.” It was said about this new UAV that it will be included in the maritime operations of the Navy, and for this this UAV will fly from Hyderabad to Porbandar.   • A total of 60% of the things used to make it are Indian.
  • This UAV has a payload capacity of 450 kg.
  • This is an unmanned UAV, that is, no human is needed to operate this drone.
  • It can fly in all types of weather including rain.
  • It is capable of staying strong for 36 hours.
  • It is a state-of-the-art Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform.
  • It can fly in all airspaces.
