Adipurush Review: Prabhas and Kriti will be liked, but the dialogues in the rain of VFX can spoil the mood…

Adipurush Movie Review: The excitement and uproar that was created for the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer film ‘Adipurush’ finally came to an end today. Director Om Raut’s big budget film ‘Adipurush’ has been released in cinema halls today. Many controversies came to the fore after the teaser of this film. Sometimes on the look of the characters and sometimes on some dialogue. But as the release of the film approached, all the stories turned towards its ticket and its increased price. But this fist which remained closed till now has opened today. Let me tell you whether this closed fist is of ashes or of lakhs.

what does the story say
First of all, talking about the story, this film is bringing on the screen that story related to our beliefs, which for years we know not only as a story but as a saga of the victory of truth over untruth. Janaki, Raghav and the rest are spending their 14 years of exile in the forests. In this forest, they are attacked by elusive demons. In such a situation, Suparnakha, Ravana’s sister, prefers Raghav and chooses her husband, but Raghav refuses and the rest cut off his nose. In such a situation, Suparnakha tells her brother Lankesh that there is no beauty like Sita in the whole universe and if he finds her, he will conquer the whole world. To avenge his sister, Ravana abducts Sita and then Raghav brings back his wife after saving her from Lankesh.

There will be a terrible thunderbolt of VFX, you have to survive
The first half action of the film moves by creating a balance of emotion and you see the story moving forward. But in the second half, Adipurush becomes an ‘action film full of VFX’. This is the story which we have been listening to since childhood and everything from its characters to the events happening in it is imprinted in our mind. In such a situation, when Ravana comes to abduct Sita, he arrives on the Pushpak plane. But in this film, instead of an asura, Ravana appears to be a demon and Pushpak takes the place of the plane with an ugly looking giant bird made of VFX.

The second half of the film only shows an orgy of action. That too so terrible and strange that you will forget for a while that you are watching the war between Shriram and Ravana. There will be such rain of VFX on you from all sides that even Shriram will not be able to save you from it. Also, when you watch the film in 3D, the entire color palette of the film is so dark that you will not be able to understand whether the monkeys are dying or the cartoon characters of Ravana. Also the length of the film is also a big problem. After some time the film seems very drawn out.

Hanuman ji says, ‘Oil of your father’
The biggest thunderbolt that will hit you in the film will be its dialogues. There are such dialogues that you will not be able to understand whether Meghnad is speaking or some goon from the street. Take a guess from this that in this film you will see Hanuman ji saying, ‘Jo hamari behen ko haath lagayenge, unki Lanka laga denge…’ or ‘Your father’s cloth, your father’s fire, your father’s oil, will burn’ Your father’s too…’ And saying this, Bajrang Bali sets Lanka on fire.

what does impress
Talking about the positive things of the film, the music and BGM (Background Music) is good, which enhances the story well. At the same time, in the matter of acting also all the stars have done a good job. The art director has done his job beautifully in the first half of the film. Many frames will look like a painting to you. But the problem of this film made in a huge budget of 500 crores is that there is no soul anywhere in the story. And this is the biggest shortcoming that comes up again and again.

Actually, through this film, an attempt has been made to create this story of Ramayana in an action universe. In such a situation, if you just consider it as a film, then maybe you will enjoy a little, because this story is a complete film, ‘in which complete freedom has been taken for creativity’. 2.5 stars to this film from my side.
