In view of Sahalag in Agra, the team of Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) has started a campaign against adulterated goods. On Wednesday, 24 samples of milk, curd, khoya and cheese were taken and sent for testing. The team has destroyed the curd and cheese due to foul smell.

FSDA Assistant Commissioner Food Shashank Tripathi said that Sahalag has started. In such a situation, there is a high possibility of adulteration in milk, cheese, ghee and khoya. On this, the team has conducted a special campaign and taken 24 samples.

During investigation at the dairy located on Inner Ring Road, the team found curd and cheese of poor quality. There was foul smell coming from them. On this, three kilograms of curd and four kilograms of cheese have been destroyed. Apart from this, 17 samples of mixed milk, two samples of paneer, one each of boondi, barfi, ghee, butter and khoya have been taken.

If the investigation fails, a case will be registered. The food inspector also conducted an inspection campaign in Barhan. Samples of cheese were taken from the shops of town cheese sellers Hariom Kushwaha and Rajpal.
