The body of an advocate was found lying in a canal in Bareilly’s Nawabganj area on Wednesday morning, causing a sensation in the area. During the investigation, his bike and mobile phone were also found in the canal. It has been told that the advocate had gone to fill petrol in the bike on Tuesday evening. Did not return home after this. The brother of the deceased has filed a complaint in Nawabganj police station demanding a fair investigation. The police conducted post-mortem of the body.

According to the information, Karmaveer (35 years) of Masitwali Nagar village was an advocate in Nawabganj tehsil. He had gone from his village late in the evening to the petrol pump located in Baraur village to fill oil in his bike. When he did not return home till late night, his family started searching for him. On Wednesday morning, family members received information that his body was lying in the canal. The family members immediately reached the spot and took out the advocate’s body. It is suspected that the advocate died due to drowning after his bike fell into the canal.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Kotwal Shravan Kumar reached the spot with the police team and inspected the spot. Later, the Kotwal completed the Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The advocate’s brother has expressed doubt over his death. He has filed a complaint in the police station. Due to the death of the advocate, his wife Mithilesh Kumari, daughter Gargi, son Sumit, Tarun, mother Laltesh Kumari, brother Devesh Kumar and Shashikant were in a bad state, crying.
