Ballia Sadar Kotwali police has registered a case against a teacher and former student union president in the kidnapping case of a petrol pump businessman resident of Chitbaragaon. The accused teacher was arrested and sent to court, from where the court sent him to jail.

When the teacher’s relative and the state government minister came to know about this, he accused the police inspector of registering a case and arresting the accused without investigating the matter. Due to the minister’s strict attitude, the SP put Sadar police inspector Sanjay Singh on line duty with immediate effect.
It is being told that after the pleading of an IAS, the police inspector had registered a case under sections like kidnapping etc. There is a lot of discussion about this matter.
Chittorgarh petrol pump owner Uddeshya Gupta, son of Avinash, in his complaint to the police station had alleged that last Friday at 3 p.m. he had parked his car at the district Panchayat office and was returning after doing inspection work at the sub-registrar office in Ballia.
It was alleged that Dinesh Pratap Singh and Krishna Pratap Singh, residents of Sankat Mochan Colony Civil Line, started abusing. They said that I have given money to your uncle Rajiv Kumar, you will give me that money. Uddeshya stopped abusing. He said that Rajiv Kumar should ask for the money.
On this, both the men forcefully took him in their car to their house and started threatening him. Out of fear, he was released from their custody after paying Rs. 10 lakh to both of them. The accused is said to be a relative of an IAS officer. It is also being said that even after the said officer’s intervention, an FIR was registered against both the accused.
