Expansion
The pollution level decreased on Wednesday due to blowing wind and sunshine. According to the data of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Agra’s air became better. Due to this, the first phase of Grape-1 could not be implemented. At the same time, in the smart city data, AQI crossed 400 at four intersections instead of 14, while at other places it was recorded between 200 and 300. There is a difference of three to four times between the AQI of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB)’s Sameer App and Smart City.
Sanjay Place turns from clean to bad again
Before the issue of water sprinkling came to light, the air quality at Sanjay Place Monitoring Center was better than the other five centres, while green areas like Dayalbagh, Shahjahan Park were recording more pollution than Sanjay Place. When Sanjay Place station was reopened after being closed for three days, the highest pollution was recorded at Sanjay Place, while at other places the pollution level was found to be decreasing. The figures of the station which remained closed for three days suddenly changed.
