Strong preparations have been made to welcome PM Modi in Ayodhya. PM Modi will also attend a public event, where several development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid. PM Modi gave information about his program in Ayodhya on Friday (29 December) through a post on social media platform X.
What did PM Modi say?
PM Modi wrote, “Our government is determined to develop world-class infrastructure, improve connectivity and preserve the rich heritage of Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram. In this direction, I will inaugurate the newly constructed airport and redeveloped railway station tomorrow. Along with this, I will also get the privilege of inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of many more development projects, which will make the life of my family members in many areas of the country including Ayodhya and UP easier.
PM Modi will be given a grand welcome in Ayodhya, CM office informed about preparations
PM Modi will be welcomed in Ayodhya by various groups of artists from across the country. In a statement, the office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that more than 1,400 artists will present folk art and cultural programs on a total of 40 stages prepared on the route from the airport to the railway station, Ram Path.
According to the statement, Vaibhav Mishra of Ayodhya will welcome PM Modi on the land of Ramlala by blowing conch and Mohit Mishra of Kashi will welcome PM Modi by playing damru. Many artists will present Awadhi and Vantangiya art. While Ragini Mitra of Noida and Brajesh Pandey of Sultanpur will present Awadhi folk dance, Sahaj Singh Shekhawat of Gorakhpur will present Vantangiya dance.

At what time will PM Modi inaugurate the railway station and airport?
PM Modi will inaugurate the Ayodhya Railway Station at around 11.15 am and the newly constructed Ayodhya Airport at around 12.15 pm. After this, PM Modi will participate in a public program for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of development projects.
With heavy security deployment in Ayodhya for PM Modi’s visit, the city has been decorated with flowers, murals and decorative pillars. Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that preparations for the yatra are in full swing and despite the dense fog in the city in the last two days, all arrangements are going well.

Dayal said that the Prime Minister is expected to reach Ayodhya airport at around 10:45 in the morning. After landing at the airport, he will directly go to Ayodhya railway station where he will inaugurate the redeveloped railway station. After this he will return to the airport and inaugurate it and later address a public meeting. He told that about 1.5 lakh people are expected to gather in the rally which will last for about an hour, after which Prime Minister Modi will depart from Ayodhya.

The administration on Thursday (December 28) started installing temporary wooden barricades on both sides of the recently redeveloped Ram Path and other roads en route from the airport to the railway station. According to sources, PM Modi will hold a road show between the airport and the railway station and accept the greetings of the people of Ayodhya.

A huge poster put up on the Ram Path near the new formal entrance leading to the Ramjanmabhoomi temple site carries the message ‘Welcome to the city of Lord Ram’. In this, the Urban Development Department of Uttar Pradesh and Ayodhya Municipal Corporation have also been mentioned.

The Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya said, “We are fully prepared for the Prime Minister’s visit. The city is being decorated with flowers. Beds have been reserved in various hospitals and Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College and security personnel have been deployed. A nursing staff on duty at Shri Ram Hospital in Ayodhya said that 20 beds have been reserved in one ward of the old hospital building and five ICU beds in the new building. On Friday morning, a ‘reserved ward’ board was put up in the vacant ward. The nurse on duty said that the patients have been shifted to other wards.
Dayal said, “There was visibility problem due to fog, due to which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath The proposed Ayodhya Yatra on Thursday was cancelled… In view of the PM’s visit, the CM will stay in Ayodhya on Friday night.
Ayodhya District Magistrate Nitish Kumar said that the Chief Minister will hold a review meeting in Ayodhya. He said that heavy security has been deployed in the city in view of PM Modi’s visit.
These central government ministers will be present in Ayodhya
Apart from the Chief Minister, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, local MPs and MLAs and some party officials will be present in Ayodhya on Saturday. This visit of PM Modi is taking place less than a month before the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Temple. A large number of people are expected to reach Ayodhya near the Pran Pratistha ceremony and the city is being decorated for this big day.
Main road decorated with sun pillars
A set of sun-themed Surya Pillars has been installed on a major road in the city, which falls on VVIP movement routes. Along this road named Dharma Path, near Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, walls have been prepared at regular intervals on both sides on which depictions of the life of Lord Ram have been carved. Huge posters have been put up in different parts of the city declaring Ram Temple, the new airport and Ayodhya as a city of dignity, religion and culture.
PM will also flag off two new Amrit Bharat and six new Vande Bharat trains.
The Prime Minister’s Office had said on Thursday that during the Ayodhya visit, PM Modi will also flag off two new Amrit Bharat and six new Vande Bharat trains. PM Modi will launch projects worth over Rs 11,100 crore for improvement of civic amenities and development of world-class infrastructure in Ayodhya and over Rs 4,600 crore for other parts of Uttar Pradesh.
