Owaisi raised questions on the transfer of the collector
Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad seat Asaduddin Owaisi further said that the Madhya Pradesh government wants to give too much power to the collector, if someone says that the mosque is not a mosque then the collector will have to accept the demands of the crowd or else he will be transferred. Know what is the controversy?
In fact, recently many Hindu organizations of Vidisha had demanded that they be allowed to worship in Bija Mandal. The Hindu organizations had approached Vidisha Collector Budhesh Kumar Vaidya with this demand, but then the then Vidisha Collector Budhesh Kumar Vaidya, citing a notification of ASI, had declared the Bija Mandal temple of Vidisha as a mosque. There was a lot of uproar after this statement of the collector.
Hindu organizations had demanded from District Officer Buddhesh Kumar Vaidya to open Bija Mandal on 9th August on Nag Panchami. Their demand was that they would perform Puja there. Collector Vaidya had told at that time that ASI is the protector of this structure, so he had sent this matter to ASI.
