Ajab gajab 65-year-old mevalal gets income tax notice no house to live in Wash glasses at the tea shop

Maharajganj. An incident has come to light from Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, knowing which you will be surprised. Actually, Mewa Lal, a resident of Patregawan in the district, has received a notice from the Income Tax Department. Ever since this incident came to light, Mevalal has become a topic of discussion among the people. The surprising thing is that Mewalal works as a glass washer at a tea shop.

Mevalal is spending the last moments of his life in a lot of struggles. If we talk about his income, Mewalal does not have even a single penny. For the last three years, he has been working at a tea shop in the village, where he gets food or rather, through this, he is making arrangements for accommodation and food.

Income Tax Department’s notice became a disaster

Mewalal told Local 18 that he has only one house in his name as property. However, some people have taken possession of this house also by evicting them. He told that when he was unwell, his Aadhar card and PAN card were taken. He also expressed the suspicion that someone else was behind this notice received from the Income Tax Department. At present, they neither have a place to live nor a penny in their pocket so that they can live a normal life. He told with great regret that on one hand, he himself has to struggle in the last phase of his life and on top of that, this notice of the Income Tax Department has come as a disaster.

Meva Lal’s life is dependent on God

Mewalal told that he has been working at this tea shop for the last 3 years. The reason behind working here is that one gets two meals a day. There is no special place to stay, so we sleep at this shop. He told that he stays at this shop 24 hours a day, due to which arrangements for his food and accommodation are made. However, he is 65 years old and due to this he has to face many diseases from time to time. In such a situation, there is no good option for treatment. But, somehow they do their medicine. However, ever since the notice was received from the Income Tax Department, he has become a topic of discussion in the entire area.
