After the communal incident in Haldwani, the police administration has been alerted in Aligarh also. Late night on 8th February, the administration implemented the sector scheme in the city with immediate effect and police force was deployed by dividing the city into 10 sectors. Additional security arrangements have been made on Friday, February 9.
Let us tell you that the city is very sensitive from communal point of view. However, the situation has remained very normal for some time now. But the police administration is in no mood to be negligent at any level. In this sequence, keeping in mind the situation after the incident that took place in Haldwani city of Uttarakhand on 8th February evening and in view of Friday prayers on 9th February, additional security arrangements have been made in the city.
According to Additional District Officer, City, Amit Kumar Bhatt, in view of the Haldwani incident, the city has been divided into 10 sectors by implementing the Sector Scheme with immediate effect. Together 5 zones have been created. Magistrates and police officers have been deployed in every sector and zone. Apart from that, additional police force has also been deployed.
Besides, special surveillance will be maintained at major prayer places, mixed population areas and public places during Friday prayers. No one will be allowed to take law into their hands. Let us tell you that our city is very sensitive from communal point of view. Here too, reactions to incidents happening across the country are often seen.
