Alia Bhatt On Jigra: Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Jigra’. The film will be released in theaters on 11 October 2024. The film is directed by Vasan Bala. The official trailer of Jigra was launched in September, and since then the buzz around the film is increasing with each passing day and fans are now unable to wait for its release.
Now Alia has revealed in an interview why she said ‘yes’ to ‘Jigra’ immediately after giving birth to her daughter Rhea Kapoor.

Jigra stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the lead roles. The two will be seen playing siblings in the film. Amid the promotions of the film, Alia sat down for a chat with Jigra maker Karan Johar and her RRR co-actor Jr NTR (who is also promoting his film, Devara: Part One). Alia opened up about her decision to work in Jigra right after giving birth to her daughter Rhea Kapoor. Alia Bhatt said that she was in her lioness mood soon after giving birth to her first child Rhea. She admitted that she was in the ‘most protective mode’ when the script of Jigra came to her.
Alia said, “When I signed Zigra I think I was in my lioness mode. I was in my most protective mode – like, ‘nobody comes near her’ mode. That was the energy. That’s why I always say that destiny, luck, life has a lot to play in things going a certain way. Forget the fate of Zigra, the fact that it came to me as well… wow, what a time it is that I am feeling this way and all those things were involved in it.”

Talking about her character ‘Satya’ in the film, she told how her character demands the same emotions that she was going through in real life at that time. Let us tell you, Alia Bhatt is playing the role of an elder sister in Jigra, who is trying her best to save her onscreen brother ‘Ankur’, played by Vedang Raina.
