Aligarh Muslim University Slogans Of Allah Hu Akbar Raised In Republic Day 26 January


AMU Controversy: A video of some students wearing National Cadet Corps (NCC) uniforms during the Republic Day celebrations outside Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is going viral on social media. In this video, students are seen raising slogans of Allah Hu Akbar. According to sources, the VC of the university was also present there when these religious slogans were raised.

After the video went viral, the Aligarh police asked the university administration to take strict action against the students who raised the slogan. In the viral video, some students wearing NCC uniform and carrying its flag are seen raising slogans of “Allah Hu Akbar” near the tricolor. The video was reportedly shot outside the AMU campus during the Republic Day celebrations on Thursday.

After the incident, the SP of Aligarh has ordered the university administration to take strict action against the students who raised slogans. AMU Proctor Wasim Ali has claimed that there was a boy raising slogans, whose video went viral on social media.

According to the proctor, the student was shouting slogans at the university gate and an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. After the identification of the student, necessary action will be taken against him. Wasim Ali also said, ‘All national festivals are celebrated with great pomp in the university.’
