A BSF jawan died of bullet injuries in Majra Bhadiyar of Pisawa village in Aligarh at around 9.30 am on Sunday. Earlier in the morning, there was a quarrel between husband and wife and the wife had called her brother from her maternal home. After this the quarrel had increased further. On information SO, CO Khair and SP Dehat reached the spot. The police took possession of the licensed gun and the forensic team also reached the spot and investigated. No tahrir has been given in relation to the incident till late night.

Kanhaiyalal (32), who died, was a resident of village Bhadiyar and was posted in Border Security Force Delhi. He was building a house in the village and used to come to the village every Saturday and go to Delhi on Sunday. Kanhaiyalal was having a fight with his wife Preeti for a few days. There was a quarrel with the wife on Sunday morning also. On this, Preeti called brother Pramod from her maternal home located in Johra village of Chandaus area.

There is a discussion that shortly after Pramod’s arrival, there was a sound of firing from the room inside the house. When the laborers engaged in building the house ran inside, Kanhaiyalal was lying in a pool of blood. There was a bullet in his stomach. His licensed double barrel gun was lying nearby. Wife and brother-in-law were also in the room. On the information of the laborers, the family members who had gone out for work reached home. Immediately the injured jawan was taken to a hospital in Jewar, but on reaching there the doctors declared him brought dead. Due to his death, the family members including sons Shivam, Satyam were in a bad condition by crying. The police questioned the mason about the incident.

The brother of the deceased has told that BSF jawan Kanhaiyalal was having a fight with his wife. In this quarrel, Kanhaiyalal was injured by being shot in the stomach with his own licensed double barrel gun. The family took him to a hospital in Jewar where doctors declared him brought dead. Kanhaiyalal was admitted to BSF in the year 2015. On Sunday morning, his younger brother Krishna went to work under MNREGA in the village itself. Mother Imarti Devi and Krishna’s wife Radha Devi had also gone to pluck moong in the fields of a farmer resident of the village. The laborers were engaged in building the house. In the room where the incident took place inside the house, only his wife and brother-in-law were present along with the BSF jawan.

According to relatives, there was a quarrel between the husband and wife for a few days and they were taking it as a routine. According to the deceased’s brother Krishna, there was a quarrel going on between his brother and sister-in-law for a few days, so they accepted it as a daily matter and in the morning other family members left for their respective work. On getting the news through the laborers who were building the house, he reached home after running away. This discord took the life of Jawan Kanhaiyalal. The reason for the quarrel has also not been disclosed at the moment.

When the jawan was shot in the stomach, questions are being raised as to in whose hand the gun was. The police also believe that during the quarrel, the jawan might have picked up his licensed gun and in a snatch, the bullet fired from the gun hit him in the stomach. However, the police is probing other possibilities. The masons and laborers were also questioned. The spot was also investigated by calling the forensic team. The post mortem report is also awaited, so that it can be known from which angle and from what distance the bullet was fired.
