Aligarh News: Class 12 student attacked in AMU’s Allama Iqbal Hall, injured

A student of class XII was attacked and injured with a sharp weapon late on Saturday night at Allama Iqbal Hall of Aligarh Muslim University. The student has been admitted to JN Medical College in a critical condition. After this incident, people associated with AMU arrangements came to the spot and inquired about the incident. In this case, preparations were going on on behalf of the victim student to file a complaint in the police station through the proctor’s office.

The incident is around 10:30 pm. Here, 20-year-old Abdul Razzaq, originally a Class XII student from Ghazipur, had a dispute with some of his colleagues in the hall itself. Abdul Razzaq was thrashed in this dispute. It is alleged that a fellow student from Bihar attacked with a sharp weapon, due to which Abdul Razzaq was seriously injured. This created chaos in the hall.

On information, the people associated with AMU arrangements from the proctor’s office reached the hall. He admitted a bleeding student Abdul Razzaq to JN Medical College. Proctor Mohammad Wasim Ali told that the student has been admitted for treatment in an injured condition. The matter is being investigated. He told that a complaint has been given to the proctor’s office on behalf of the student. Which has been sent to the Civil Lines Police Station for investigation. In-charge Inspector Pravesh Rana told that investigation is being done in the matter. The condition of the student is out of danger.
