The Aligarh district administration is getting strict regarding the establishment of industrial units in the ambitious Defense Corridor project of the Central and State Government. Now notices are being given to the businessmen who have taken land here. They are being told that if they do not start construction of the units up to the allotted land soon, their allotment will be cancelled. DM Indravikram Singh has asked the government to send a letter for this. Along with this, notice for this is also being given to the allottees.

The DM was speaking in a meeting with the plot allottees under the Defense Corridor Scheme at the Collectorate Auditorium on Monday. He said that the state government has a clear intention behind providing land according to the industrial environment at concessional rates so that more and more industries and investments increase in the state. But it is a matter of regret that it has been more than two years since the establishment of the corridor, but till now the work on the ground has not been started by any allottee. Such allottees, who have not yet applied for various types of objections and map passes, should be given a show cause notice and a reply should be obtained from them within two days.

The DM did a detailed review in the presence of each allottee with Plot Joint Commissioner Industries Birendra Kumar and officers of UPDA regarding the construction and passing of various types of clearances and maps in turn. He said that if concrete steps are not taken for setting up the unit soon, a letter will be sent to the government for cancellation of the plant.

There are many investors who want allotment of plots there. The boundary wall construction work by the DM will not be considered as on-site construction work. The allottees to whom notices were issued earlier, but have not responded. After preparing their list, the intention of the allottees should be informed to the government.
