There will be an inquiry into the collapse of the boundary wall of the Aligarh Defense Industrial Corridor. This boundary wall had collapsed in a little rain. It will be investigated by PWD. In the Collectorate Auditorium on Friday, DM Indravikram Singh reprimanded UPDA’s RK Verma and directed to keep every construction work as per the quality standards in future.
While reviewing the progress of the projects under construction by Rural Engineering Services, UPCL, Packfed and UPEDA, the DM said that after the approval of the project, tenders should be floated without waiting for the allocation of funds, so that time is not wasted. Start working with full capacity as soon as the budget is released and focus on completing the project. With this, the project will be completed on time, while the wastage of money will be prevented due to non-renewal of estimates. The general public will be able to get the benefit of the project in time.
During the review of the works being done by the Rural Engineering Service, on the complaint of silt lying on the road from village Sarkoriya to Bhoj Nagariya of development block Gonda, the DM said that the construction of the road is to be completed by June. So pick up the silt as soon as possible. The DM fixed dates for completion of many under-construction works. On the delay in road construction due to laying of drinking water pipeline under Jal-Jeevan Mission scheme in village Kalai, the Superintendent Engineer directed the Jal Nigam to complete the work on priority.
