Two real brothers drowned on Tuesday afternoon at the Mastram bathing ghat of Anupshahar police station area in Bulandshahr, who had come to bathe in the Ganges. It was told that both the brothers had come from Aligarh to celebrate their birthday with their friends. When there was an uproar, the local divers and boatmen present on the spot jumped into the Ganges to search for them. The police and administration teams that reached the spot are also engaged in the search operation of both.

Tuesday was the birthday of 19-year-old Lakshya, a resident of Mohalla Waterbox of police station Dehli Gate area of ​​Aligarh. He had come to Anupshahar’s Mastram bathing ghat to celebrate his birthday with his elder brother Abhishek, 20, and local friends Suraj, Sandeep, Ravi and Monu. At around 3:30 in the afternoon, both the brothers drowned in deep water while taking a bath in front of the Hanuman idol. On the noise of friends, the local diver, Navik, who was present on the spot, started searching for them.

Simultaneously, on receiving the information, police station along with SDM Naveen Kumar, EO Municipality Sanjay Verma, Lekhpal Ashok Kumar Saini reached the spot. Along with this, the team of PAC Flood Platoon has also started looking for him. Till late evening, no clue could be found of both the youths. The SDM said that after identifying the dead, their families have been informed.
