In Aligarh, a girl from Harduaganj police station area has filed a complaint in the police station accusing her brother-in-law of sexual exploitation. According to the girl, the brother-in-law had taken her along with him on the pretext of work on the kiln. A few days back, when the elder sister came to know the truth, she was sent to her maternal home. Now the accused is threatening by abusing on the phone. The girl has given Tahrir in the police station and has also spoken about being forced to commit suicide if no action is taken.
The father of a 20-year-old girl resident of a village in the police station area has died. Citing poverty, two years ago his brother-in-law took him with him to work at a brick kiln in Haryana province. There he often began to flirt. It is alleged that the brother-in-law sold her for one and a half lakh and got her married. After a month, the accused called his wife home saying she was ill. Getting a chance there alone, he raped her.
On complaining to the sister, both of them were silenced by threatening to kill them. When the victim tried to go to her in-laws’ house, the accused spoiled the relationship by sending obscene photographs to her in-laws and kept her with him. During this, the accused kept raping the victim for one and a half years. A few days back, when the elder sister came to know about her husband’s activities, she sent the victim back to Harduaganj with her mother.
The victim alleges that now the accused brother-in-law is threatening her by abusing her on the phone. On blocking the number, he is threatening to send fake obscene photos of the victim on Instagram by sending a recording message in abusive language to the neighbors. Frightened, the victim along with her mother and younger sister reached the police station. According to the victim, the accused is of violent nature. If the police does not take action, she will be forced to give up her life, but will not go to the hands of the accused.
