Farmer leaders keeping their problems before the officials in Jalalpur village of Pisawa

The farmers sitting on dharna at the power sub-station in village Jalalpur agreed to the assurance of the officials. They called off the strike on Thursday evening. The officials of the Electricity Department assured that the electricity bills of the tube wells would be revised and sent. While the defective transformers will be replaced by June 25.
Farmer leaders told SDM Khair Mohammad Aman, CO Khair Rajeev Dwivedi, SDO Electricity Department Jattari Praveen Kumar, Naib Tehsildar Gabhana Sandeep Chaudhary who reached the protest site that electricity bill of thousands of rupees is coming every month. Several transformers have blown up in the area. Demanded amendment in bills and replacement of transformers. Said that meters should not be installed in tube wells.
On the behest of the SDM, the officials of the Electricity Department said that some transformers would be replaced immediately. The farmers called off the protest after an agreement was reached between the farmers and the officials. These farmers were sitting on dharna on Wednesday. Bhakiyu’s Mandal President Vimal Tomar, District General Secretary Gaurav Tewatia, Tehsil President Gabhana Veerkaran Singh, Devraj Singh, Raman Singh, Hansraj Singh, Madanpal Singh, Ramveer Singh, Aman Singh, Shankarpal Singh, Rambabu Sharma were prominently present on this occasion.
Uprooted tube well meters and handed over to the authorities
Many farmers protesting had uprooted the meters of their tube wells and brought them. He placed this meter in front of the officials but the officials of the Electricity Department were not ready to take these meters. There was a long debate between the farmer leaders and the officials of the Electricity Department on this. Later the departmental officers deposited all those meters.
