Voting started at 7 am in Aligarh Lok Sabha seat in the second phase for the 18th Lok Sabha. At the end of voting, 56.62 percent voting was recorded. AligarhтАЩs voting percentage in 2019 was 61.64 percent.

Boycott of voting took place here

Well, at booth number 103 of village Lalgarhi Post Palseda of the assembly, the villagers boycotted the voting due to lack of development work in the village and none of the candidates of the three major parties visiting the village. On receiving information about the boycott, SDM Khair, Naib Tehsildar, Sector Magistrate etc. arrived and after convincing the villagers, voting started at around 11:30. There are total around 850 voters in the village, out of which more than 200 have voted.

Villagers boycotted the elections in Haivatpur Siya village of Jawan due to the bad condition of the main road. SDM reached the village to convince the villagers. Voting started at 12 noon. Voting was boycotted even when the sugar mill in Satha was not operational. Voting started at 12.30 pm. At the same time, villagers in Siypur also boycotted voting regarding the road. Voting started there at 12 oтАЩclock. The pace remained slow at both the booths.
