Shop operator Navla Bhai told Local 18 that he has been making and selling Aloo Ponga for 30 years. Earlier, 4 pongas were available for 1 rupee, and now 8 for 20 rupees. The sale of potato pongas increases with the onset of winter. I sell more than 100 dishes every day. According to Navla Bhai, this business not only provides him employment, but his shop has become an identity in the Sindhi Basti area.
