Under the Amar Ujala Meet Your Candidate program on Wednesday, Congress candidate from Allahabad Lok Sabha constituency Ujjwal Raman Singh candidly answered the public’s questions and listed his priorities. He said that he is a joint candidate of Congress and SP. He got the ticket on the orders of the high command of both the parties. He is in the field to serve the public. This is his family’s twentieth election. His family has been associated with the public for a long time. We are also getting benefits from this. Father Kunwar Revati Raman Singh has done development work in the entire area including Karchana assembly. Whose record is there. Said that never contacted BJP for ticket. Both SP and Congress are part of the India Alliance family. Akhilesh Yadav’s blessings are on me.
Sangam’s existence is in danger
Ujjwal Raman Singh said that due to construction of dams, dams and tunnels in Uttarakhand, the existence of Sangam is in danger. Prayagraj is identified with Sangamanagri. Due to blockage of the flow of Ganga and Yamuna, a lot of water is reaching here. City sewer water is falling into Yamuna river. This water goes and meets the Ganga. Those who take bath daily know that if the middle stream of the confluence is left aside, there is no water left anywhere suitable for bathing. Ganga cannot be saved by releasing water from canals for two months.
The government spent twenty thousand crore rupees in 10 years for cleaning the Ganga, but there was no result. The government should give account of this. Kunwar Revati Raman has also been fighting for the identity of Ganga and if he gets a chance, he will run a campaign to save Ganga from the road till the confluence.
