Eye bank of JN Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has started registration of eye donors, which was stuck for renewal for six months. Corneal Retrieval Services and Transplantation program has been started after approval from Government of India. Let us tell you that in the June 10 issue of Amar Ujala, the news was published with the title of JN Medical College’s eye bank renewal stuck.

Officiating Medical Superintendent Prof. Mohammad Aftab informed that the facility for clinical evaluation and registration of potential recipients in the Eye OPD complex will be available on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday during OPD hours. Individuals interested in donating eyes can register themselves and take the pledge during working days on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
