Lakhimpur Kheri: There was panic among the villagers after seeing a crocodile in the house in Dambal Tanda village of Lakhimpur Kheri, UP. The villagers are terrified after seeing this huge crocodile. Meanwhile, a villager made a video of the crocodile in the hut itself and made it viral on social media. At the same time, the villagers immediately informed the forest department employees about the matter. As soon as the information was received, the forest department team reached the spot, rescued the crocodile and took it into custody.
Giant crocodile entered the house
The entire matter pertains to Majra Dambal Tanda village of Gram Panchayat Rameshwarapur of Block Bijua of Lakhimpur Kheri district. A crocodile was seen resting in the house of village resident Radhey Shyam last night. Radhe Shyam told that recently there was flood in Sharda river, due to which crocodiles have also reached the pond located in the village.
The crocodile was 7 feet long
He told that he had eaten food and slept at night. At around 3 o’clock in the night, I woke up from sleep due to some noise and looked around using torch and saw some noises coming from the room. Meanwhile, when I went closer to the room, I saw a crocodile about 7 feet long lying in the corner. After seeing the crocodile, people gathered and started making noise.
Crocodile released in Sharda river
The villagers informed this to Forest Range Bhira and Bijua outpost in-charge Brajesh Kumar. The team that reached the spot included Forest Ranger team Avneesh Sharma, Forest Inspector Vijay Singh and Bijua outpost staff rescued the crocodile and released it in the Sharda river. He told that crocodiles have now reached residential areas after coming out of rivers and ponds.
