Kanhaiya, a student of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University’s Paliwal Park campus, has secured the first position in the country in the MyGov Campus Ambassador competition organized by the Centre. He has won this award by defeating students of many reputed and private universities. Kanhaiya was given this award by Union Minister Jitin Prasad at a function organized in Delhi.

Kanhaiya is a student of BA Arts 3rd semester in the Department of Library and Information Science. He told that during Covid-19 itself, I started participating in various social and educational activities with my friends. In the MyGov Campus Ambassador Program, he made students and youth aware of government schemes and policies. He also organized road safety awareness, tree plantation, youth dialogue program and various online seminars.

Kanhaiya told that earlier also he along with his friend Rohit had participated in “Kya Sochta Hai Yuva” in Amrit Generation program of Union Ministry of Women and Child Development. In which he got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stay in Delhi for seven days and meet various ministers and participate in various seminars. He also participated in G-20 program. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Ashu Rani congratulated him on his success. Head of Department of Library and Information Science and BA Arts Coordinator Prof. UC Sharma said that Kanhaiya Kumar’s success will inspire other students as well.
