On May 30, the Anti Corruption Team arrested an Amin from Iglas town in Aligarh on the charge of demanding bribe in the name of dues. A case was registered against the Amin in Rorawar police station late in the evening. He will be sent to jail on May 31.

Inspector Devendra Kumar, in-charge of Anti Corruption Police Station, said that a person from Iglas area had taken a loan of Rs 2.75 lakh from SBI on KCC. He has a mobile repair shop in Iglas town. In the event of not paying the dues, he had a loan of Rs 4 lakh. RC was issued from the bank level. On which RC reached the tehsil. Now recovery Amin Saudan Singh of Tehsil Iglas started contacting him.

According to the allegation, he clearly said that either he should deposit the due amount or give five thousand rupees so that he can hold his RC. The victim was worried about this. Fed up of his threats, he complained to the Anti Corruption Police Station. According to the trap laid by the police team, on 30 May morning, Amin reached the victim’s shop to collect the money. Then he was caught red handed.

Later, he was brought to Roravar police station and after hours of interrogation, a case was registered against him and the process of arrest and filing of the FIR was started. According to the Inspector Anti Corruption Unit, he will be sent to jail on Friday. Information regarding the arrest is being sent to the district administration. On that basis, departmental action like suspension etc. will be decided against him.
