A local BJP leader said that Shah’s Kashmir tour is not political. He said, “I think the Home Minister is coming to review the measures from the security point of view to increase the voting percentage and create an atmosphere of peace. This is not a political visit, but BJP workers will meet him and discuss organizational matters of the party.

When asked whether the delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami will meet the Home Minister? In response to this question, Sunil Sharma said that no such meeting has been scheduled.
