According to India Today’s report, at the audio launch of Vettaiyan in Chennai, Rajinikanth talked about Amitabh Bachchan’s financial crisis. He told how Big B suffered losses when he started producing films, but his determination did not let him sink.

When Amitabh saw Downfall

Rajinikanth said, ‘When Amit ji started producing films, he suffered a lot. He was not even able to pay his watchman. His Juhu house was put up for auction. The whole Bollywood was laughing at him. The world will just wait for your downfall. In three years, he earned all the money from ads, KBC. Then he bought three more houses in the same street along with the Juhu house. He is an inspiration. He is 82 years old and works 10 hours a day.’

He further said, ‘Amitabh ji’s father is a great writer. He could have done anything with his influence. But he came into his career alone without the influence of his family.’

Let us tell you that Amitabh had seen a very bad phase in his career, but then he made a strong comeback and never looked back. He gave commercially successful films like Mohabbatein, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
