In Amroha, on Monday, on the day of consecration of the idol of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya, SP put Razzaq police outpost in-charge Sandeep Balyan in line, who was negligent in his duty in the city. The SP took action on the complaint of the city police station in-charge late on Tuesday night.
At present no new posting has been made at the post. On January 22, the idol was consecrated in the grand temple built at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya. Due to which high alert was declared in Amroha district including UP. The police administration was fully alert from security point of view.
SP Kunwar Anupam Singh had divided the district into one super zone, four zones, 12 sectors and 45 sub-sectors and assigned the duty of police-administrative officers. Additional police personnel were deployed in vulnerable and mixed populations. The SP himself took stock of the security arrangements by marching in the city.
Razzaq Chowki area of Amroha city has a mixed population. Therefore, officials had instructed Razzaq Bazar outpost in-charge Sandeep Balyan to remain alert. It is alleged that he remained absent from his duty. He was negligent in his duty.
