In Mandi Dhanaura, Bajrang Dal has accused two youths from another community of raping a girl. Blocked outside the Tehsil office demanding registration of a report against them. The workers demonstrated for about an hour.
A memorandum has been submitted to the CO and a demand has been made to register a rape case against the accused and arrest them. Bajrang Dal workers allege that in a village in the police station area, two youths from another community kidnapped a village girl from her house and raped her.
The allegation was that instead of registering a case on the basis of the father’s complaint, the police only registered the case under the section of luring. In protest against this, the workers blocked the Tehsil office on Monday afternoon.
His allegation was that despite the information no officer was present. During this time there was a queue of vehicles. On receiving information about jam, CO Shwetabh Bhaskar and Tehsildar reached the spot.
Bajrang Dal workers have alleged in the memorandum submitted to the CO that four months ago, one of the accused Firoz had seriously injured a youth of the same village by attacking him with a sword when he protested against molestation of girls.
The police arrested him after the encounter. The activists warned of registering a case of rape against both the accused and of blocking roads in the district if they are not arrested within 24 hours.
The CO got the jam cleared by assuring effective action. On this occasion, Bajrang Dal state chief Hemant Saraswat, VHP district president Ashok Saini, Vipin Bhardwaj, Kushal Chaudhary, Harpal Singh, Sunil Kumar, Bhupesh Kumar, Naresh Chand etc. were present.
