Chirag was strangled to death in Ketwali Pandki village of Amroha. This has also been confirmed in the post-mortem but the police is struggling to solve the mystery of Chiragâs murder. The reason as to why and who murdered Chirag is not yet clear.
However, the police remained busy in conducting the post-mortem of Mahir on Friday. The police hoped that if Mahir was also murdered, then the murderer could be the same. The police are also looking into the matter by linking it to Tantra action. After the death of innocent Mahir on May 7, the family members had buried the body in the pit of the pond.
Police action was not taken in this case. But the next day, 12-year-old Chirag was strangled to death. Chiragâs family also did not want to do the post-mortem. But someone informed the police about this, after which it became a compulsion to do post-mortem of Chiragâs body.
Chirag might not have been murdered
After the death of two children in Ketwali Pandaki, the police is investigating on many points. Police guess that on the day Mahir died. If the family members had got his post-mortem done then perhaps Chirag would not have been murdered the next day.
The mentality of the murderer could have changed due to the police action. Police also suspect that if Chiragâs body was cremated without police action, then the death of any third child also cannot be ruled out.
Innocent Mahirâs body was taken out by digging a pit
After the death of two children in Ketwali Pandaki village, the body of innocent Mahir was taken out from the pit of the pond on Friday. A panel of doctors conducted post-mortem of the body, but the cause of death could not be ascertained. Therefore the doctors have preserved the viscera.
Now the cause of Mahirâs death will become clear only after the viscera report comes. Earlier, after the permission of DM Rajesh Kumar, the police had taken out the body from the pit in the presence of the Tehsildar. Two children died within 24 hours in Ketwali Pandki village of Dehat police station area.
Mahir, son of village resident Vipin Saini, died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday. The body of innocent Mahir was found in the neighbourâs house. The door of the house was closed. How he got inside remains a mystery. There were injury marks on his face and forehead.
The family members buried his body without taking any action. After this, the body of twelve year old Chirag of the same village was found on Wednesday. Her post-mortem report confirmed that she was murdered by strangulation. In this case, the police have registered a report of murder against unknown.
After the murder of one child and suspicious death of another within 24 hours, the Dehat police station swung into action and decided to conduct post-mortem of Mahirâs body also. On the demand of the family members, DM Rajesh Kumar Tyagi late on Wednesday night gave permission to take out the body from the pit and conduct post-mortem. After which, at 11 am on Friday morning, in the presence of Tehsildar Hemant Kumar, the body of innocent Mahir was taken out and post mortem was done.
