Chandrapal Singh (62), father of village head Arvind Yadav of Ghalib Bada, who was sleeping in the house, was shot dead. The bullet was fired close to the head. The police investigated and the forensic team and dog squad collected evidence on the spot. Additional Superintendent of Police also reached the spot.

The village head has expressed suspicion of murder against a relative. Deceased Chandrapal Singh had retired from the post of peon in JS Hindu College, Amroha Nagar two years ago. Apart from his wife Angoori Devi, he has two sons Neeraj and Arvind and two daughters. Elder son Neeraj works in a hotel located on the highway in Gajraula.

Younger son Arvind Yadav is the village head. After retiring from the job, Chandrapal Singh used to do milk work in the village. On Sunday night all the family members were sleeping inside the house. Chandrapal Singh was sleeping on a cot in the courtyard of the house. At around 3 o’clock in the night, unknown people shot Chandrapal Singh in the head and killed him.

The accused fled from the spot after committing the incident. When the family members came out of the room at five o’clock on Monday morning, Chandrapal Singh’s body was lying on the cot in a bloody condition. Seeing this, there was an outcry among the family members. After some time a crowd of people gathered.

As soon as the information was received, Naugaon Sadat police reached and investigated. Additional Superintendent of Police Rajeev Kumar Singh and CO Anjali Kataria also inspected the spot. On the instructions of SP Kunwar Anupam Singh, forensic and dog squad also collected evidence at the spot.

ASP Rajeev Kumar Singh said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. Arvind Yadav, son of the village head of the deceased, has expressed suspicion of murder against a relative. Police is investigating. Three teams have been deployed to uncover the incident. Will be exposed soon.
