AMU’s class 11 entrance exam will be held on June 9. Sharia questions have been removed from Indo-Islamic questions in the examination. Due to this there is anger among the students studying in the university. He said that AMU arrangements should not do this.
Admission for class 11 (Science, Commerce, Humanities) will be held on June 9. There is an entrance examination of 100 marks. In this, questions of 10 marks are asked from Indo-Islamic part. These three questions were related to Aqida, Ibadat, personality of the Prophet and Quran-Hadith, which will not be asked this time. In place of these questions, questions related to the Mughal period will be asked.
Student Mohammad Ghiyas Uddin said that on one hand they are destroying the existence of Muslims and on the other hand they are fighting in the Supreme Court for minority status. Urdu is being sidelined. Student Mohammad Yasir said that the Vice Chancellor removed the Shariat part, which he condemns.
In this regard, Controller of Examinations Prof. Mujeeb Ullah Zubairi said that questions related to Aqida, Ibadat, personality of the Prophet and Quran-Hadith were asked from Indo-Islamic, but some teachers and experts gave their opinion that there is a need to re-look at the questions. This matter came to the Academic Council. After this a committee was formed. The committee gave its recommendations, which have been implemented. If this issue or someone brings it to their notice, then the university will relook at it. Whether there is a need to change the decisions taken or not? He said that there is a connection with Islam University. The name of the university is Muslim. It is not that Islam should be removed from the university.
