Potato – 4-5
Tomato – 3-4
Green chili – 3-4
Cumin 1/2 tsp
Rai – 1/4 tsp
Ginger chopped – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Green coriander – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tsp
salt – as per taste

How to make potato-tomato vegetable
To make a flavourful potato-tomato curry, first cut one-inch pieces of potato and tomato and keep them separately in a bowl. After this finely chop green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves. Now put oil in the cooker and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry them. After a few seconds, when the masala starts crackling, add turmeric and coriander powder to it.

After mixing them with a spoon, add a pinch of asafoetida and sauté after adding chopped potatoes. After some time, add tomatoes to the cooker and cook till it becomes soft. After this add water as per requirement and salt as per taste, cover the cooker and cook till 3-4 whistles. After this, turn off the gas and let the cooker cool down. After the cooker cools down, open the lid and mix some garam masala and green coriander leaves in it. Tasty potato-tomato curry is ready to serve.
