In North-East Delhi’s Karawal Nagar area, a 13-year-old student hanged himself after watching a suicide video on his mobile. The family was shocked to see the son hanging from the door frame with the help of a noose. He was immediately taken down from the noose and taken to the nearest hospital, where he was declared dead. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot.
After completing the formalities, the police has taken the body of the teenager into custody and sent it to the mortuary. Apart from the crime team, FSL has also collected evidence from the spot. The history of the teenager’s mobile has revealed that he had watched a suicide video before committing suicide.
The 13-year-old boy lived with his family in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colony, Karawal Nagar. Apart from his parents, he has a younger sister in his family. The boy’s father has his own business. The boy studied in class 8. He often used to watch something or the other on his mobile. His mother used to scold him for this. Something similar happened on Monday as well.
The student hanged himself in the ground floor room of the house. When the police officer investigating the case checked his mobile, he found a video related to the suicide. It is suspected that the student embraced death after watching the video. The police have not found any suicide note from the student at the moment. The police is investigating the case.
