Sonia Singh, an employee posted in Hathras Municipality office, has made serious allegations against her husband, Municipality President and former MP Rajesh Diwakar. She has given a memorandum to the OC Collectorate in the Collectorate saying that if she does not get her salary in three days, she will commit suicide by pouring kerosene along with her family.
Sonia Singh handed over the complaint letter addressed to the DM to the officer in-charge Collectorate Neeraj Kumar. He has said that his promotion was done by the then Municipality President on August 4, 2022. After this, she was also given a promoted pay scale, but the present president’s former husband started exploiting her by deducting her leave period and salary for the post of second class clerk. Demanded one lakh rupees from him. He gave 15 thousand rupees.
Despite this, he was called to work at his residential office. On refusing, he was treated rudely. Its audio is also safe. Sonia has said that she is facing financial crisis due to non-payment of salary. She faces threat to her life and property from her husband and his associates. He has demanded from the DM to immediately pay his seven months’ salary which was withheld without any order or reason.
Sonia Singh’s case is going on in the court. The court has also considered him as a class IV employee. If there is any issue then investigation should be done. Sonia Singh was transferred by EO. He did not join there, hence his salary has not been given on no work no pay basis.
