Animal Movie Review: ‘Johnny Johnny, yes papa, you will see bloodshed for three and a half hours, it is very difficult papa…

Animal Movie Review: After the success of ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s formula of ‘glorifying the alpha male’ became a superhit across the country. In such a situation, Sandeep has again brought Ranbir Kapoor in the same ‘man’s world’ style, with a lot of violence and a lot of bloodshed. While ‘Kabir Singh’ was crazy about his love, now in ‘Animal’ a son is crazy about his father. Now, in this madness, the hero of our film can do anything and Sandeep shows this extreme cinema on screen. After the trailer of the film, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the people about this film and this excitement is clearly visible from the advance booking of the first day of this film. As much excitement as people have about this film, has Sandeep Reddy Vanga brought an equally interesting story in this three and a half hour long film? Let us tell you.

Papa’s crazy Ranvijay
As is clear from the trailer itself, this story is the story of Ranvijay Balveer Singh (Ranbir Kapoor)’s madness for his father Balveer Singh (Anil Kapoor). Balveer Singh is a big business tycoon of Delhi, who owns a steel factory, Swastik Steel. Balveer Singh is such a big businessman that he has his own private land, private hotel, house, bungalow, everything. This Balveer Singh has three children, 2 sisters and a son, Ranvijay Singh. Ranvijay, who lives in America, suddenly learns that someone has shot at his father, after which he takes his family and comes back to his father and then sets out to find the attacker who attacked his father. . This film is the story of this revenge.

story of alpha males
The first half of the film is spent in telling to what extent Ranbir is crazy about his father. Along with this, the love story of Ranbir and Rashmika has been shown in the beginning itself, although not much time has been wasted in it. During this love story, Ranbir also explains how for centuries women like only ‘alpha men’ because they are strong. Now such ideas can be discussed separately, but right now let us not talk about the ideological aspect of this film, but only on the craft (because on that level this film is quite problematic). There are many scenes in the first half of the film which are quite funny. Especially the actions have been beautifully designed.

Anil Kapoor is shown to be a big business tycoon in the film.

Often in the second half, even the loose story of films is expected to be fast paced, but the second half of ‘Animal’ also completely tests your patience. A film is made by adding scene to scene, but a film is not made just by adding scene to scene. A story flows between these scenes, which keeps the audience engaged. But ‘Annemon’ has lagged behind in this regard. In the trailer itself you know that Anil Kapoor is going to be shot. In such a situation, it is expected that in the film it will be known who did this and why…? Now 3 hours 21 minutes is a very long time to answer these 2 questions. The film is so long that it starts tiring.

The entire sequence of actress Tripti Dimri in the second half looks so strange and boring that it does not seem to be necessary in the story. Ranbir Kapoor’s enemy, who extracts all the information from his childhood to America, is unable to know that Ranbir is coming to Scotland to kill him… And yes, in this world created by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, there is neither police nor Neither the administration, nor if there is logic anywhere in the story, forget it.

There are two strong things in this film, first is BGM (Background Music) which is the life of South Cinema. And amazing action from the second film. Both the departments have done great work in the film. The BGM is so amazing that even many normal scenes of the film have become amazing. Like when Ranbir Kapoor arrives in front of his father with his brothers from Punjab. BGM has taken this scene to a different level. Talking about action, ‘Violence’ is more visible in this film than Ranbir Kapoor. There is a fairly long action sequence before the interval, in which people wearing helmets are just dying like targets in a video game.

Talking about acting, Ranbir Kapoor is a Director’s Actor, who can do anything to portray his character on screen. Ranbir has done everything in this film also. To justify this ‘mentally ill character’ created by director Sandeep, Ranbir has even become naked on screen. Ranbir has put his heart and soul into this film also. But director Sandeep Reddy Vanga will have to atone for the sin of wasting such a good actor and a budget of Rs 100 crore in such a weak story. Be it Rashmika or other female characters of the film, their loud voice is heard in this world of men and their wishes are fulfilled. Although Rashmika slaps Ranbir in some scenes and she is the only character who is able to express her views to some extent. But even on this, Ranbir is seen regretting in one scene that ‘the wife should be controlled in the marriage, otherwise it gets out of hand’.

Rashmika Mandanna is seen in the role of Ranbir’s wife in this film.

Bobby Deol will be seen in the film in the same proportion as he is in the trailer. However, he is also lethal in these 2-3 scenes. In the name of man’s world, ‘Animal’ shows on screen the story of a mentally ill man, who instead of getting treatment, took up guns in his hands. This film is 2 stars from my side.
