Animals will be treated at home on one call, so many veterinary vans will be run


The central government is working hand in hand with the states to overcome the financial crisis of cattle herders. Veterinary vans will be made available for immediate treatment of sheep, goats, cows and buffaloes and other animals. It is said that 536 vans will be operated in this regard. A toll-free number will also be issued for livestock owners, so that if needed, the livestock can call immediately and get treatment.  

Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Prof. SP Singh Baghel said that at present, there is a need to adopt advanced varieties of farming and animal husbandry instead of traditional farming and animal husbandry, so that the income of animal farmers can increase and Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute. Avikanagar, Bikaner can get a boost. In the program here, he said that the aim of the government is to double the income of the farmers, that is why emphasis is being laid on doing agricultural work with new technology and advanced methods.

Sex sorted semen is being injected into cows

On behalf of the Union Minister of State, it has been said that cattle rearers will have to select advanced breeds. Scientists need to develop breeds. Emphasis was also laid on the use of sex sorted semen in cows. So that the country’s milk production can be boosted. Apart from this, we should get rid of stray cattle. He also stressed the need for the establishment of the Indian Council of Veterinary Research and the Indian Council of Fish Research. There was talk of promoting research work in animal husbandry and fisheries in both the areas.  

Government will run 536 veterinary vans

Joram Kumawat, Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry in Rajasthan Government, said that very soon they are going to provide 536 mobile veterinary vans to the animal husbandry of the state with the help of the Central Government. To help the farmers, 1962 toll free number will also be issued for mobile veterinary medical vans. Animal owners will be able to call the toll free number and call the veterinary van sitting at home to get their animals treated. It was also told that under the Chief Minister Cow Vansh Card Scheme, interest free money will be available to the cattle farmers of the state from the bank.

Portal will be started, animals can be insured

Centre and Rajasthan will soon start an insurance portal for animal insurance. This will compensate the financial loss of the farmer. Here, 30 economically weaker families were given the necessary items for animal husbandry along with a goat rearing unit of Sirohi breed. During the program, sewing machines were given to women to make them self-reliant. More than 1000 farmers from 12 states participated in the program held here.
