Bank manager Ankit Goyal, who came into the news for threatening Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has absconded after committing arson. He had set his wife’s car on fire before setting the GM office on fire. This saved Tulip Grace Tower from a major fire accident. The people of the tower are scared of Ankit’s antics; they have sought protection from Premnagar police. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against Ankit for attempting arson in the CDO office.

Ankit Goyal, assistant manager of Bank of Baroda’s Station Road branch in Bareilly, had threatened Kejriwal. He was arrested by Delhi Police. Although he got bail the same day, the bank management suspended him. Angered by the action, Ankit Goyal set fire to the bank’s general manager’s office on Wednesday.

There was also an attempt to set fire to the CDO office

He had also tried to set fire to the CDO office in Vikas Bhawan. Before this, he had gone to the basement of Tulip Grace Tower and set fire to his wife Megha Dubey’s Baleno car. Since the people of the society have installed a fire alert system, water sources were immediately opened as soon as smoke came out and a major incident was averted. Although the car was badly burnt, the scooter parked nearby also got caught in it. It is being told that after the suspension, Ankit is angry with the bank officials and the officials of the development department who do the monitoring.
