Another petition has been filed in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Idgah case. In this petition filed in the Civil Judge Senior Division Court of Mathura, the plaintiff has mentioned facts like Gyanvapi. According to advocate Pankaj Joshi, the petition/plaint has been filed before the court by plaintiff PV Raghunandan.

It has been claimed in the petition that the temple built at the actual birthplace of Shri Krishna was demolished by the invader Aurangzeb and the Idgah Mosque was constructed from its debris. To the west of the mosque, the platform built later by Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust etc. is being shown as Shri Krishna’s birth place written in Hindi and English, which is wrong.

In the petition, an injunction has been sought to prohibit the defendants from this work. Pankaj Joshi said that this petition has been filed on Wednesday. Let us inform that on Thursday, in relation to the Gyanvapi survey, the party had claimed that the Varanasi District Court had found in the ASI survey report that there was a Hindu temple there before the mosque.

ASI has found that the Hindu temple was demolished in the 17th century and the debris was used to build a mosque. PV Raghunandan’s petition largely matches the points of the judgment in Gyanvapi. However, it is not yet decided whether this petition will be heard in Allahabad High Court like other 18 cases or it will be heard by the local court itself.
