The king was very happy and thanking the Rishi, he went to heaven.

  • On Ekadashi, Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped along with Lord Vishnu.
  • If you observe a fast on this day, then after getting up in the morning and taking a bath, wear clean clothes.
  • Then offer banana, mango, yellow flowers, yellow sandalwood, yellow clothes to Shri Hari Vishnu and chant Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay.
  • Apply saffron tilak to Shri Hari and then apply tilak on yourself too. Then definitely recite Vishnu Sahasranama and read or listen to Ekadashi Vrat Katha.
