Apart from spiritual what is the scientific basis of Ram Setu

It is mentioned in the religious texts about Ram Sethu that when Ravana had abducted Mother Sita and took her to Sri Lanka, Lord Ram had set out to bring Sita back. However, during this time, they faced the problem of how to cross the vast ocean. After which Nara and Neel, with the help of the monkey army, built a bridge on the sea to reach Lanka. This bridge built over the sea with Ram’s name written on it came to be known as Ram Setu. It took five days to build this bridge. Coming from this bridge, Lord Ram reached Lanka with the monkey army. This is a religious basis, but do you know that Ram Setu also has a scientific basis.

What is the length of the bridge?
Even today in South India, a row of high rocks is visible between Rameshwaram and Sri Lanka and Mannar in the north-east. These rocks are known as Ram Setu in India. In many other places it is also known as Adam’s Bridge or Adam’s Bridge. The length of this bridge is 48 kilometers. Which is separated from the middle by the Gulf of Mannar and the Palk Strait.

At the place where this bridge is said to exist, the depth of the sea is less. Let us tell you that it is also claimed that in the 15th century, one could reach Mannar Island by walking on this bridge from Rameshwaram, but with time, due to storms, the depth of the sea increased and this bridge became below the sea level. . It is also said that till 1480 AD this bridge was above the sea level.

History revealed through carbon dating
It is said in some media reports that carbon dating was also done to find out the history of the beaches. In which it was revealed that the date of construction of this bridge matches with the date of Tretayug of Ramayana. Apart from this, Ram Sethu was built with floating stones which can still be seen in Rameshwar.

NASA also released the pictures taken from space of Ram Sethu and gave the basis of its proof, however, after a decade, NASA retracted its statement and said that there is no proof from the space travelers about the existence of Ram Setu.
