According to media reports, a study was recently done regarding the status of Vitamin D in the people living in the Kashmir Valley. This study was published in the Health Line Journal. Different people between the ages of 18 and 65 were included in the study. Pregnant women and a group of other women were also included in this. Whatever came out in the study. That was very surprising. Vitamin D deficiency was found in 222 out of 270 people.

More vitamin D deficiency came to the fore in women
It was also surprising that both men and women were included in the group. But the people in whom vitamin D deficiency came to the fore. There were more women. Vitamin D deficiency was found in 45 out of 69 men, while 177 out of 201 women had downregulated vitamin D levels.

Less in farmers, job profession more worried
The study that has been done regarding Vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency was seen more in the job profession. According to the study, 58 percent of the farmers were suffering from vitamin D deficiency, while it was 93 percent in the employee group.
