Analysts say that due to the large number of orders for the new iPhone 16, exports are also expected to increase.

According to channel checks, there is a strong trend towards iPhone-16 among buyers. This is due to the new updates in iPhone-16 and its lower price compared to the 15 series. The new iPhones are available in India from today, September 20, at both retail and online stores. This includes Apple BKC (Mumbai) and Apple Saket (New Delhi) stores along with the company’s authorized sellers.
The base variant of the new iPhone is in high demand
Counterpoint Research Director Tarun Pathak said that this time there is more demand for the base variant of the new iPhone compared to last year. At the same time, companies are also providing attractive financing options. Due to this, it seems that the new 16 series will break the previous records.
Prabhu Ram, VP of Industry Research Group, CyberMedia Research (CMR), while talking to IANS said that Apple seems to be benefiting from the growing demand for premium phones in the Indian smartphone market. He further said that apart from the iPhone-16 series, sales of older iPhone series like 14 and 13 are also increasing. Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that globally the pre-order sales of the iPhone-16 series in the first weekend are estimated to be around 37 million units.
Apple’s share in the Indian market is 6 percent in terms of volume and 16 percent in value. Apple’s business is growing rapidly in India. By 2025, its income can cross the figure of 10 billion dollars.
