Apple iPhone Exports India Financial Year 2024 Trade Vision Latest Report Company Growth


Apple iPhone Export: India has taken a big leap in mobile exports. With this, iPhone exports have doubled. Apple’s iPhone exports from India have increased to US $ 12.1 billion in 2023-24, which was US $ 6.2 billion in the financial year 2022-23. Trade Vision released a report on Tuesday, in which this information came to light.

According to the report of Trade Vision, the total export of smartphones from India has increased to 16.5 billion dollars in the financial year 2023-24, which was 12 billion US dollars in the previous financial year. The report states that this growth reflects the broader effects of Apple’s growing presence, development of the Indian manufacturing ecosystem and fostering innovation. Apple’s iPhone exports from India increased from $ 6.27 billion in financial year 2022-23 to $ 12.1 billion in 2023-24, which is almost 100 percent growth.

After Corona, the trust of big companies around the world on India has increased. India’s economy is continuously benefiting from this. Many manufacturing units have been shifted from China to India. From Apple to Tesla, many big companies are continuously expressing confidence in India.

Continuously increasing presence in the American market

Trade Vision LLC said that these figures show that India is now playing a bigger role in Apple’s global supply chain. Monica Oberoi, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Trade Vision LLC, said that initiatives like the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme of the Government of India have encouraged companies like Apple to invest in local manufacturing. The presence of Indian-made iPhones in the American market is continuously increasing.

Now iPhone camera parts can be made in India only

American company Apple is now preparing to make iPhone camera parts in India. According to an ET report, Apple is in talks with Murugappa Group and Tata Group’s Titan Company for manufacturing iPhone cameras. This step is also being taken so that the dependence of iPhone manufacturing on China can be reduced. Many iPhone models are currently assembled in India, but there is no supplier for the camera module.
