What came out of the study?

A total of 124 people took part in the study and they were divided into two groups. Every day, one group was served apple juice containing about 340 grams of polyphenols and the other group consumed drinks without polyphenols. After 12 weeks, the group that drank apple juice saw a significant reduction in visceral fat area (VFA), ie fat stored on the outer abdomen.
