Under this program, those iPhone 14 Plus units whose camera does not display a preview image will be repaired free of charge. It is worth noting that such a problem is seen only in those models of iPhone 14 Plus, which were manufactured between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024.
If you are facing any such problem in the camera of your iPhone 14 Plus phone, then Apple will repair your iPhone for free at its authorized service center. However, for this you will have to check whether your iPhone 14 Plus is eligible for free repair or not. For this you will have to go to Apple’s support website and enter the serial number of your phone.
This process will have to be followed
To know the serial number of your phone, you will have to go to your phone’s settings and follow this process: – Go to Settings > General > About. Here you will get the unique serial number of your phone model. After this, copy the serial number and paste it on Apple’s support website to check whether your device is eligible for free repair or not.
Additionally, if your device has any other problem other than the camera, such as cracked glass, that problem will need to be fixed first. Repairs for camera issues are free only if any other damage or malfunction to your phone has already been fixed.
According to Apple, under this free repair program, a warranty of up to three years will be given, which will be counted from the date of purchase. Additionally, customers who have already paid to have their cameras repaired due to this issue can also apply for a refund from Apple.
